try to spot toxic cycles or patterns where he thinks oy about himself.. recognising them is far more important. and then slowly break them. takes time.

I always praise him aand try my best to keep calm and speak softly even if I get angry but I'm not getting the same vibe from him and the hardest part is listening to the blame game even though I have enough things to defend me. how many times I need to compromise on this? why can't he try to change himself, life would be beautiful if so

he is kind generous and loving the only issue is the narcissistic attitude which is intolerable
