First of all it is not big deal. these kind of guys are prevalent in our society. World need to see women with respect. i mean i had gone through something similar just that i was the "guy" i had a crush on this girl while i was in college we had real good friendship her perents even knew me well enough and all but one day she was gone for like 2-3 days and came back and told me she got engaged i was literally heartbroken because i was planning to propose to her on valentine's day which was a few day after she got engaged, at that time all i wanted to do was to avoid her because if I'd meet her or talked to her i might burst into tears i was that sad
