are saying this because u r interested in many subjects and can't choose one?
skylar
many reasons... the one u mentioned is one of them, it's gets tiring..
zestyHawk4
what are the other reasons?
skylar
sometimes family doesn't get that, it demotivates u when u urself are battling with urself..., idk how to put into words..
confessiondiary
I get it man you are probably feeling lost
skylar
@confessiondiary -*hugs*, disappointed more or so.. today
zestyHawk4
ur family doesn't understand ur career choice?
skylar
they can't understand me in general, they got issues with everything... always think that I can't make it
zestyHawk4
well this happens to me too.... sometimes my parents think i can't do it, i can't take responsibilities
skylar
so... how do u tackle it?.....my family is toxic too in general.
zestyHawk4
1
i always say them the benefits of the thing again and again....but many time they just say no saying that i am still a kid😐
skylar
oh, and that cycle continues and ends up draining us.
zestyHawk4

zestyHawk4

What course do your parents want you to study?
skylar
bsc nursing from some govt. institute.
deep_thinker
1
what's the profession of your parents?
skylar
1
we are from lower middle class family, my grandma is a retired nurse,so is my aunt (both her daughter and my uncle's wife)- that where his inspiration comes from I guess.
deep_thinker
1
do u have siblings?
skylar
1
yeah, I'm kinda oldest one... I got a younger sis, and a cousin, to look out for

What are the reasons given by your parents for stopping you from chasing your dreams
skylar
1
they don't want me to take drop, they fear that what if I don't get into some decent college next yr... after seeing my performance in both boards and entrances, they are more skeptical and disappointed... I guess. but what I don't get is that - how on earth did they expect me too crack these - mains / neet without any preparation or guidance !
skylar
1
they also believe that I'm too ambitious - kinda unrealistic for them. I don't think they believe that I'm capable enough I guess.

1
Why don't you go to coaching center to prepare for NEET/JEE
skylar
I would've joined in 11th itself, if things went the way I wanted to. neither they were interested then, nor they are interested today.....
deep_thinker
How's the current financial situation in your home?
skylar
1
it's same as usual... I guess. my father is more into saving. he believes spending in coaching will be waste, he would rather spend the same in some college.
deep_thinker
If your parents give you one more chance, do you have complete confidence that you can achieve it?
skylar
1
yeap, I would surely get into something!
deep_thinker
1
seriously talk about your parents to giving you one more chance, if they given a chance, you must assure them that you will not waste it and also tell them you need a coaching support, and if you fail in this, you must promise them that you will obey as they say.

You should think about way to convince your parents

Try to find a way using all your intelligence

i convinced my father and he told i can do it....but be careful about doing two degrees at the same time so i said that I'll first see for the first 4 weeks that can i take the knowledge from them...is it easy for me....if yes then I'll continue it
zestyHawk4

my parents were also against from me taking a drop by seeing my boards result and my IISER entrance exam
skylar
my family loves to play blame game especially when it comes to me.... I don't think I'm left with that kind of mental stamina to go through something like that. and I refuse to go through something like that again.
zestyHawk4
well my parents too do that sometimes like don't take my words seriously like i tell a thing but they won't listen....ik it's really annoying
