Rejection is not really a bad thing, it's good that the person makes it clear to you so you know what they feel about you and how you shouldn't expect from them. Maybe you should try changing your perspective. Stop seeing rejection as failure. You would reject a person too if you don't like them in a way they want you to. It might hurt, but rejection is rather clarification and clear expression of a person's feelings. It's okay to be rejected. Completely fine.
