I'm at my fifth week in college and I've never been more depressed in my life, my boarding roomates are absolute bullies and whenever I tell my parents they just brush it off as me wanting to come home but if something bad does happen they'll say 'Why didn't you tell us?' even though I've been telling them but they won't listen. I feel stuck and hopeless right now.

it is true no one understands our mental problems and the indian families will never do that i dont think so u should be relying on them try to find a solution on ur own and ur problems u can share here and we can listen to u and if possible give u a solution too because if u keep on relying on them they are never going to listen so just leave it

try to change ur room. talk to the warden and if possible write a complaint letter to the principal. if have to take stand for yourself.
