Actually there's this lady in my apartment. She is very stubborn and always ready to right. She has a problem when I bring in street puppies or when they sleep to protect from rain

Yesterday I was getting a puppy treated for a swollen leg and unnecessarily she started arguing with me saying we cannot keep cows and moneys inside and street dogs are supposed to live on roads. She talked about how she and her husband might get allergies as they are both 60+

is she the only person that has problem with u bringing street dogs or are there more?

But her tone was very demeaning and she argues like this with my mother also. I did give her a reply but I'm not able to forget it. I'm so furious she spoke down to me. She just wanted to defend her point even if it made her look irrational

Anytime a puppy sleeps, her husband sprinkles water and shooes the puppy away

This happened last evening when I was about to give a medicine to the puppy. I'm just really furious, not able to sleep, not able to forget what happened. I don't know how she will face me after showing her ugly side yesterday. She was arguing like a 6 year old . without making sense

well, i understand you that you know you did that as just the act of kindness with bringing street animals when they're injured or need help but i suggest to avoid at certain times as the lady could actually make huge choas out of it...by the way you described she isn't seen like a nicest person so it's better at times if you avoid and help them without bringing in building however if you find any street animal injures badly than you should take and help them despite whatever anyone says. I'm sure if not her then anyone else will understand your situation!

Thanks. There are people here who appreciated and supported me. This lady lives right in front of my house. Actually she did this earlier also now we hardly ever bring the dogs inside. We have been bringing a dog in as she has developed a swollen leg. But without any context she was raising her voice and saying nobody keeps street dogs inside their homes. I wanted to slap her!! I'm not able to get it out of my mind

They only come inside for 15-20 mins a day and sleep. When we give them food they go outside. Even when it rains these people don't want to provide shelter to dogs

I can totally understand how frustrating it can...plus she's old we have to be in our manners or we'll be labelled as brat even if we're right. either you avoid her completely and not give any attention or fight but don't stop helping the dogs. it's really very kind of you to think of street animals as not many care about them so do not stop no matter how many times she shout or make chaos... she'll eventually stop at point when she realise that you will keep the dogs no matter what. so keep it up. negatives are everywhere...we gotta find a way to deal with them
