I was in the same spot as of you few days back! my solution was to as advised by baba anti tech was - keep your phone dipped in a jar of water for 20 mins on the dot. and let it soak the. take it out and wipe it off from a towel, then look at the moon or sun what ever is available then take 5 rounds of your center table in your living room come back to the phone - and wallah - you have solved your problem :)
