You can talk to him about why and how he has changed. Communication is the key here. Have you tried talking to him? Talk to him once and see if anything changes

Try doin sonething good for him to calm him down. maybe take him out somewhere for a lunch or dinner or at home. Set the calm and speak to him nicely. And tell him how you feel and what u need from him.
