See if she is busy and not responding, then maybe she has other reasons. You cannot be sure, but don't keep your hopes up. People come and go, we get attached easily, especially during teenage years. But it is good that your self respect is preventing you from texting her. You didn't text her for 2 weeks and did it bother her? Don't make it look like you're chasing her. In my opinion talk to her about how you feel and how it's effecting you and see what's the response, if he acts unbothered or tries to understand your situation. If she doesn't understand or does the same thing that hurts you, do what your doing now that is maintain your self respect.
