How should you respond to your bf when he comes back after 4 months and he left because his mother got cancer and he had reslonsibilities??? He left without a word. A part of me got so numb that even though i want to say 'its ok, i understand' but then i am unable to.

If you are unable to, you are not compulsed to take him back. I understand he has his situations and needed to go, but it has caused you to change.
