Abused by family members

My family is very mean to me and I'm targeted at every chance they get. I'm a girl and I have 2 brothers but my parents always expect me to help out with housework and talk about how I'm not worthy of education every time I fail to score above average marks. My brothers take advantage of this preferential treatment too. I feel so lonely here, I wish I could go away.

I'm sorry that your family treats you this way. The discrimination is very wrong and the best way to escape this would be to work hard on your career. Once you're established they wouldn't be able to raise any questions at your capabilities and you could also move out.

Have you ever confronted your parents about this? They might not react to it very well but atleast you could take a strong stance for yourself and the verbal abuse could fade out.
