don't panic. u will do fine. listen you rnt there to impress them as they are your client and you are proposing them a project. it's just a dinner. be courteous and receptive to courtesy. Hold your ground and you will do just fine. relax yourself.

I know im not there to impress them its just I'm not close to said family member and they talk about of gossip and I just wanna look and be my best around them

u r keeping up an act and u r afraid how long you can keep doing it. r u scared that they might not appreciate if you get comfortable and act like how you would act of you were all ok with them.? if that's the case, don't worry bout it. stop caring for their opinion.
