Anxiety attack in bus

Question

Before the pandemic, I was travelling in the bus one day and I fell asleep for s bit when suddenly a stranger groped me inappropriately. That has traumatized me and since then I have avoided taking the bus. Now my college is starting again and I have no choice but to get on the bus for travel, I'm very scared. I don't think I can do it or tell anybody the reason.

I'm so sorry this happened to you, your response is completely understandable. Is there anyway you can discuss this with your parents? If not then try to ride the bus with a friend, it'll make you feel more protected.

If you're traumatized then this won't get fixed at once, you'll have to ease into it. Start by taking the bus for a small distance first with somebody you can trust and eventually travel the whole distance by yourself.

I feel sorry for your situation..Firstly you need to understand that theres no fault of you here..It l take time to heal .There are lot of girls out there who wil feel relatable..i feel sorry for all those..Try travelling with your friends and if you have college bag wear it on your chest..it will make you feel comfrtble..Belive me this phase will pass and who will be back to normal..May Allah bless you with peace..Ameen
