Maybe someone was a big part of you and now when they are no longer it is hard for your heart and brain to accept it

hey stranger! I guess it's normal to feel distant from people you once felt okay with. I've felt this way many times in my life and now I know that when I do feel so it is just a message my mind is sending me that I deserve to be around better people. that doesn't necessarily have to mean that your friends are bad people but what it means is that you've grown out of their stage of intellect and they don't satisfy your life in the way they once used to. you don't need to feel anxious about it or overthink it.. it'll only complicate this simple little tussle in your head. try and explore and find new people.say yes to new experiences and have fun. if you don't feel like you belong somewhere. maybe you're right.. maybe you deserve better people who make you grow :) take care and smile
