Cut off all contacts, stop monitoring them on social media, stop reading old chats, keep yourself occupied throughout the day, hang out with friends, watch a comedy movie/series
give yourself some time. do not force yourself to forget the person.

To be truthful a few months back this was my Google searched question.. I know it hurts.. but we should let our selves get a break.. I had a hard time forgetting about someone.. I tried to read so much.. and I tried my hobbies but at some point of time that person keeps popping up into your brain..make sure to erase any kind of media from that person in any sorts of social media platforms. Then try to involve yourself in some kind of work cause that's what I used to do. I used to work alot and read alot so that I wouldn't think at all. but still I used to think. But as time passed i could do it even if it was hard. Trust me try your best.. as time goes by..it will heal you.. until then be you.. and try your best to snap out..
