Read as many self help books as you can. Watch videos of self improvement. Have positive expectancy from life ( Dont expect particular things, rather expect a positive life as whole). Try and improve your positive energy be it praying, reading, listening music what ever feels good to you. Take responsibility of every action you take. Hope this helps.

This pattern of thinking has not developed recently. I'll have to explain from the beginning but will try to keep as short as possible. Almost 8 years ago I came across a video of Earl Nightingale. Since then things have not been same. I've read a few self improvement books. Watched videos of the same and read many articles. Almost every writer insisted on positive thoughts and feelings. Having a positive belief. I am not sure how accurate these methods are. Do they work or not. But there has been instances in my life where when I was really feeling good I was able to be more productive. And I realized that positive expectation made me feel good. And whenever I felt good I was able to think more clearly. I didn't freeze. Felt confident to take actions. Although I am still learning to be happy may be regular practice will make things better. I still overthink, I still feel anxious, I still worry about the future. Whenever I try to expect good I have this feeling that something opposite might happen. And that makes me negative all over again. So yes I am trying. Let's see how things turn out.
