Hey! Thanks for reaching out. Being protective and being possessive is two different things. Possessiveness actually makes the other person feel caged in the relationship. If yoh love your partner soo much trust them and let them be who they are. Try to talk about your insecurities and don’t try to stop her from anything. You both are adults and knows what’s right for yourself. You can advice her but don’t practice commands in your relationship. Giving space is equally important.
