Breakup before marriage

In the last two weeks our therapists have answered 211 queries related to mental health.

We were supposed to get married in September but now it's all over. She broke up with me yesterday saying that she didn't feel any spark between the two of us and was attracted to somebody else. Were 3 years not enough to realize that? I fought a lot with my family to welcome her in, I don't know how I will face them. My world is crumbling down, I never saw this coming. I will never trust anybody ever again.

Hey, You have every reason to be upset but the truth is that relationships are unpredictable, you can never control somebody else's reactions after all. So it's best to focus on yourself for now, atleast you'd be sure of where you were going. If it's meant to happen then it will.

Just tell your family the truth, they might say I told you so a couple of time but at the end of the day they care about you. Let yourself feel the pain amd sadness without bottling it up, this is a major blow and pent up emotions eat you up inside so just go through the motions. You'll feel better soon, it's not the end.

its better to brekup before marriage because is a very big step its a life time decision if she is not seeing any spark in relation then why she should drag this relation and end up ruining her life
