my dad has a freakin voice disorder be sounds aphonic and that irritates me I hate to hear him speak I may it's like he talk to his lungs It's so annoying

i can understand but it's not his fault too think about it by keeping urself in his shoes what if someone says this to u it can be harsh bt try to understand it that he is ur father it's not his fault that his voice is like that

i understand some voice disturb brain... But also be emphatic that it is his nature and could not be changed... keep a cotton in your ears.. hope it will help both of you...you will figure it out soon :)
