Career change advice

Question

Why is it so hard to explain to your family that you want to change your career? If I was doing something, it doesn't mean I will be doing it my entire life. But apparently I think my family doesn't understand it well. I am not sure of my friends also except one. How do I make them understand about my career change?

@chicHoopoe4 I did but somehow I don't think they were convinced. Even though I don't care much about that, but at times when you need their support that might go missing in this case.

see they are not forcing anything on me. they are okay with me changing my career. but I feel I have not gained their full support which in other instances of my life I had.
