Close Friend Left Today 😭

My bestfriend left the institute today. It was his sudden decision which shocked me. Now I don't know what he feels about me as a friend. I really felt close to him. Also while leaving he couldn't take all his stuffs so left some of them to take later. He denied to give his badminton to me and instead gave it to someone else. That actually shocked me today. I was shocked. He doesn't even believe me? Also I am missing him strongly. Is it wrong to feel so much when both of you are males? Or such feelings happen only with boy-girl relationship. I really felt close to him. I am feeling very bad rn. what should I do? can I know what he thinks about us?

I'm going through a similar situation rn with a friend (not exactly that) but it's ABSOLUTELY ALRIGHT to feel that way. I do it all the time.

@aloofshad6, I don't know what he thinks. I did 'tell' him that we will meet sometime again to which he said yes. also our state is same so there is a chance we will meet but who knows if he even cares. I don't know what he thinks about me. Also he didn't give me his badminton rather gave it to someone else which hurts

I know that feeling, when you consider someone your best friend but not sure weather the other person consider you their best frnd or not.

I am feeling bad now. I don't know if will stay friends anymore, or we will never meet/talk again😭. I am feeling very bad now. atleast if he tells me we are close friends I would be fine
