communication gap in relationship

I want my ex back but he is not ready to accept me saying some small issues which are not even issues to break up small small things.. He is so immature and childish.. He thinks these are big things..he still msgss me but he says he don't want me but he want to talk to me normally..he wants me to talk to him as a frd.. This lockdown increased  gap between us

There are better things in life to look forward to, like your career, family and friends. Maybe the breakup happened for a reason. Maybe the guy is in a bad place right now. Try to give him and yourself some space.

I reads to me like your ex is afraid to commit to the relationship. if you're not okay with just having daily conversations as a friend, let them know. if they don't want to commit and just are leading you on with these conversations, you should figure out if you're better off without them. take care!
