confusion in relationship

I'm a 23 year girl, I am into this guy for about 3 years now. The problem is he is a person who cannot commit and I want commitment, so we have figured out the best path for us is to be FWB. Secondly, we have a tendency to get angry, leave for a while and then come back to each other again and again, either him or me. Thirdly he is a person who demands space, a lot of it. I want to know what the hell is going on between us? Is it love, is it lust, what is it a vicious cycle? P. S I have identified our relationship to be anxious-avoidant type

Update: We have problem 1) He is a Muslim I am a Hindu so basically his parents+society will not accept me. 2) He claims that he had a person he wanted to marry be he cannot because she is in love with someone else. 3) He claims he does not believe in love/marriage 4)He claims that I'm not his type And after all these factors he keeps coming back to me...What is going on?

Ask yourself are you happy with him? Is he fullfilling your needs both psychologically and emotionally? If not then you might try to get of this bond. If not then think on the reasons on what is making you stay in this bond .
