I just now got my second sem result and I got 79.2 percentage less than my friends. I worked so damn hard I was expecting 83 or 84. But I got this much I feel extremely pathetic I feel like giving up everything. I am even upset with God

In first sem I got 82 and I got so much less this time πππππππππ
peaky04
see you have managed to get 79.2 % which is far more than other students
peaky04
don't get upset instead celebrate your result.
_stressedthrushe7_
But that is less I studied really hard I wanted it in 80 tees. My friends got more percentage than me now they will look down on me ππ
_stressedthrushe7_
What does it matter studying hard sometimes doesn't even give proper result π₯Ίπ
peaky04
if they look down on you then they aren't your real friends , piece of advice - leave them

I always remember a quote said by MS dhoni which is always trust the process, believe in process and not the result , don't think about result , if you focus on result you'll get disappointed.
peaky04
which course are you enrolled in ?

hey don't think that way .. Don't be upset with God .. see could do this much, don't compare urself with others dear, u must compare ur progress n regress with urself .. all have their own story n different ways .. u try improving urself .. u won't feel satisfied if u compare with others all the time dear .. I know n I understand it's a natural phenomena but then u have to make urself strong n control that feeling .. n 79 percent is not less, what class are u in

Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)
peaky04

See, it's completely understandable.. What if u have a little more capability than others, what if, if u work ever harder u could go beyond what u even thought.. it's challenging for u cause ur ability could be a little more .. don't think in a wrong way .. I have gone through same feeling .. I completely understand .. try competing with urself to get better .. it's completely ok .. it's fine .. previous sem syllabus was a little easy for u n so u could manage, this time it could have been a little hard .. so don't panic, try to improve the faults n have patience, do ur right n good work n don't worry

firstly if your friends look down on you based on how much you score in academics, then they are not your real friends, secondly exams are just a phase to test your knowledge theoretical whereas in further life practical knowledge is required, so I would suggest to focus on that instead of scoring high grade marks , 75-85% are good scores
