Depressed because of no job

It's been 6 months since I was last employed. Every day passes and my depression about it just keeps on increasing. I feel so ashamed asking my parents for their money and when I decided to defy them and move to Mumbai. I'm trying to learn a new skill to help me get a job but the tension doesn't even let me focus. When I see the success of my classmates from school, it makes me so jealous. I'm afraid I will never get a job again because my recommendations weren't very good either. I will always feel like a burden

Hey, 6 months feels like a long time right now but in the grand scheme of thing it really isn't. Just focus on skill development right now and keep applying for new jobs. Based on where you are in your career right now, you could even take internships which are easier to find.

Joblessness is such a killer. It used to stress me all the time too but right now you need to give yourself goals and a schedule. When you have something to chase it keeps you motivated and it'll help your career too. Don't worry, you can get through this.
