depressed because toxic environment at home

Hi, I have completed my UG recently, I would like to study abroad for my pg but my family is financially not that strong to help me with it but at the same time they are pressurising me to pursue my higher studies in some local college. And toturing me mentally and doing domestic violence against me. I'm suffering from severe and depression. I don't know whom should I seek help from. Feels like ending my life would be the better option.

Hey I'm so sorry its happening to you! Domestic violence is not at all okay! Can you reach out to anyone who can help you get out of this! Or if your family has someone who understands you a little maybe try talking to them!

Hey I am having similar issues. I want to study in another city but my parents cannot afford that as our financial condition is really not good at the moment. Also I'm in my 3rd year but still don't know what to do after completing my bachelor's as I hate the subject that I'm currently studying. But the only suggestion I can give you is as you have completed your ug you can start doing freelancing or maybe do some paid internships. Then you can save up a little bit. It may not be enough but it's better than nothing

Hey! Thanks for reaching out. I am sorry to hear this, I am sure you must be really disturbed. Please ask your parents to talk and not use physical violence to make you agree to what they are saying. Have you tried talking to them about the option of an education loan? How higher studies from a good place can add value in your life.
