I'm 21 year old girl.. I have been in a relationship for past 8 months and from march this year his parents came to know about our relationship and opposed because of religious differences and from march to may our relationship was on and off and 1 week before it has come to an end.. And from march there's loads of anxiety, many sleepless nights, loss of appetite, palpitations.. I really don't know what to do.. Please help me out..

Hello Richa If the break up has already happened then you should try to move on. Distracting your mind from this can help you a lot. You can binge watch any TV series, do anything which can occupy your time. Basically you need to give your mind some time to heal to recover from this. Time is the best remedy for now. Talking to a friend with whom you can share things will also help or you can opt for a session with psychologist if you don't find worth talking to.

Richa I'm very sorry to hear this. It seems that the break up of your relationship has taken a very major toll on you. From your query I understand that it's not that you want to get back with this person. But that you want to get past the pain of this break up. Am I right?

He said that he can't continue anymore.. And we had a mutual breakup.. And l decided to move on.. For this l need your suggestions ma'am how to move on and start again

Richa, this must be so difficult for you. But time heals all wounds, provided that you take care of yourself. Here are a few things that you can try: 1. Surround yourself with loved ones; friends and family aloke. 2. Focus on your goals. Ask yourself what do you want out of life and how you can get there. These may change with time bit start the process. 3. Define your values. What kind of a partner do you want? What kind of partner would you like to be? Defining these will also help you enter into relationships more mindfully in the future. 4. Exercise self love and compassion. Be kind to yourself. If you find that you are feeling extremely negative about yourself, pause. Reflect on the messages you are giving yourself. Try and replace them with one's rhta are more affirmative and compassionate. 5. If you feel a great deal of pain, write a letter. The letter can be addressed to your future self, your past self, or even your present self. Such an exercise can be very cathartic, especially when the memories may become very painful. 6. Consider doing some journaling. All in all, give yourself time. All wounds heal. This can be seen as an opportunity to grow and understand yourself better. And don't hesitate to reach out to friends and family or even a professional if things get too much to handle. Take care.
