Does going to psychiatrist is harmful for 14 years old

Can anyone tell me does for a 14 years old going to psychiatrist is harmful for her cause I know someone who is 14 years old she has no friends, she can't handle school work at all and always anxious get angry on others , cry silently and yell that she has anxiety her family is really confused and scared what to do because her stress is affecting her physical health as well

instead of a psychiatrist try a councellor first.... cause psychiatrist will only give medicines and nothing else

you can always go to a psychologist first to get an opinion and then if they suggest go to a psychiatrist

it's not for me it's for a girl ik she is always anxious and actually in city we live there are lot of stigma related to mental health so there are no councellor

her family don't believe in online councelling at all what can I say she is just stressed last night I saw her from her window she was talking to her mom neutraly but the next moment her mom left she started crying counsellor or therapist are not available as well for her atleast

psychiatrist is not harmful but the thing is that they'll only give medicines and nothing else... and straight away jumping to medicines is not so good thing I guess
