What worked for me was I started practicing a script whenever I had to go to a party or any telephonic conversation, I started initiating the conversation, so I will be the first person talking, then people can keep on adding their opinions in the conversation. I made sure that I greet people first.
It slowly made me comfortable in social gatherings.
Try with phone calls, and before dialing make a script of everything that you would like to talk about.
s air I also tried scripting everything....but whenever someone comes in front of me i get scared of discussions doesnt matter those are casual or official.even with my friends.
