You don't have to pretend, you know. Once you let it all out, people around you may also be able to aid you in overcoming the ongoing stress. You don't have to deal with it alone. If you're sad, you can express it. Feel like crying? Cry and let it all out. Pretence is going to do you no good. Be yourself

The truth is you cannot pretend for long. Days, weeks, but certainly not anymore than that. It's not easy to carry a smile while you know the heart is heavy on the inside. More often than not, you cannot pretend to be something that you are not.

no i can't.. because my family Don't know about mental health n issues they just don't get it.. they think that I'm just making things up.... its all in my head.. I'm just exaggerating and overreacting

If you have real issues then you already know that you cannot pretend for long. What you can do instead if work on the issues. Pursue your hobbies, do what you love and keep your mind occupied. Turn the pain into pleasure instead of faking your happiness for the sake of those around you
