Hi. Even I was given medicines for anxiety and depression by my doctor. But when I denied I was forced by my parents to take them. Being a bio student I knew that medicines will give temporary relief and can harm in future, it's not a permanent solution. so I didn't want to take medicines. But I had to because my parents thought it was the only way to get better. I took them for about 2 weeks then I could finally convinced my parents to stop them. But after a month they took me to another doctor and again I had to take medicines for 15 days. I am not sharing my story here. I want to tell you that a lot of people face these problems so you don't have to worry. it's common. Just talk with someone you trust. Or may be consult a psychologist to have sessions but please avoid medicines. They are not good for health. You are completely normal, it happens with a lot of persons, even I suffered and I am still suffering. Try reading some good books or engage yourself in something you like. Try keeping yourself busy so you will not overthink. You will be completely fine soon. I wish you to always be happy and health and do take care of yourself. Best of luck for your life ahead.

That so true i had been taking my medicine for 5 yrs and i just decided to stop it i want to stop taking it i want to be ok, but it gives me the same sensation again when i was just first diagnose with GAD and depression the sensation ,fear and being anxious.

if the medicine are very much important then you should take it, but if they are making you addicted then try avoiding them, but in consult of your doctor or parents( if you are a minor) . Sudden leaving of medicines must not harm you. Try talking to someone and share your problems that might help. And you are no sick or anything, you are just fine. Don't let this things get to you. Depression, stress, anxiety are very big things. Sometimes if doctor couldn't diagnose things they make it seem like this. But you will know by yourself how you are. I hope you to be happy in your life. May you get the strength to face everything. And do not take tension about life, it just goes on. Maybe songs can help you, they really helped me.
