Hey buddy, I've only got one advice for you - fake it till you make it. In terms of confidence, this always works. All of us have insecurities and fears but if you can't believe in your self worth then you'll just have to take a chance and still speak up. There's nothing for you to lose if you try. Once you start getting the response you want, your confidence will increase automatically.

There must be some reason why you're not confident. Do you care about people's opinions too much or are you insecure about something specific? Track your problem and solve it. Once that is done, you'll feel much better. None of us are perfect so just take a risk, it's better to make a fool of yourself than never doing anything memorable.

It might be bcz you have low self-esteem. its not enturely your fault. If your past experiences were not very encouraging for you to be social, like your opinions where never valued in your family, your past frnds treated you as silly then its natural for you to lose your self-esteem. But faking confidence until you make it really works. I myself suffer from low self-esteem and i have been through what you are going through. then i started faking it when i met some new people. For about 2 yrs when i studied there i was one among the most social and extrovert there. It really does work. but you will have to keep your shame aside. Try doing it
