Question

i m really depressed and cryig.... i have completed my high school this year and  I want to take a year drop to study for entrance ....but my parents want me to clear the entrance in one go.....they always compare me with my other friends .....I was a bright student but....they are loosing hope one me...they think taking drop is not worth it ....my mom don't care about my mental health they just wanna brag infront of people.......i just want some time to prepare please........😭😭

heyy you'll be okay! okay? ik it's hard when people don't believe in you , especially your parents , when they should be your greatest motivation , it's just don't go some ways. you've to make it on your own , it'll affect you sometime , but you'll grew older , you'll be so glad you passed through this and became so worthy. you're worthy now , then and always. remember that and nobody can change that. love you!

thanks but this is kinda affecting my mental state  ...my eyes are sore ,headache  I'm Just laying down and can't stop thinking about it...i don't know what is happening to me...

I can really understand your problem..... parents don't believe in me that I can do anything well in my life but fortunately I have done something nice with my life..... and for your problem you should talk to your parents seriously and if they don't listen to you then you should do what you like rather than listening anyone else because it's your life and every decision will effect your entire future.

hii I'll be taking my second drop this year. I know it's very hard convincing ur parents about it. I suggest u tell them about ur completely plan. how u can get a better college if u take drop. if they are hesitant, give them an ultimatum that u WILL get a good rank.

well i tried to convince them... i don't know why...at first they agree but after few minutes they talk to one of my friends dad and change their mind..

exactly same situation is happening in my house🤦🏻‍♀️ you should convince your parents that they should believe on your decision rather than believing on anyone else (any friends, their parents, etc)........ convention is difficult but for your career you should try till end.

I convinced my mom by telling her about students who took drop and are now studying in the top medical colleges. it helped a lot

yeah .. you should try to convince them with some suitable examples of someone or just make some imaginary friend who is doing medical exam preparation
