I never get turned on

In the last two weeks our therapists have answered 211 queries related to mental health.

My libido has always been unnaturally low. Even during adolescence the boys my age couldn't stop obsessing over sex, I felt indifferent towards it. I haven't dated anybody all these years but my parents have fixed up an arranged marriage for me. I'm afraid that after the wedding I won't be able to satisfy my wife in the bedroom. It also takes quite a hit on my masculinity, I mean I don't feel like I'm guy. I just can't understand what the problem is.

Have you ever heard about asexuality? If not then I think you should read up more about it. It's possibly why you feel the way you do as far as your sexuality is concerned.

I think you should arrange a private meeting with your wife-to-be and tell her the truth. This way she can decide if she would be interested in a marriage that contains a minimal physical relationship. Not telling her would be sort of like cheating her out of what's a common expectation. This will not just clear the matter once and for all but also relieve you of your pressure.
