running is not that difficult task. it all depends upon how long you can run and how far you can run. I would suggest jogging if you are not a daily runner so that you can utilise your stamina fully. start with jogging and gradually increase your speed and have a water bottle with you when you feel exhausted have a sip of water to remain hydrated. it also depends upon the fact how many kilos you want to lose if you are already lean then running long distance is not a great idea but if you are at a fatter side then yes you can run a long distance that will benefit you for sure. and make sure you keep this habit for long and be consistent towards it. only then you will get good results and you will become more fit you will feel good. and one day you might also participate in the marathon and win an award. good luck.
