issues with father

Question

I can't believe what my dad said! I save 50k monthly from my earnings, this month I ran short of money used my dad's credit card for lunch usually 3 to 4 times in a week. Like seriously this hit me so much that he has asked me to pay his card's bill. I Am his only daughter and I never have taken any money after I started earning. This thing hurts really!

yeah he just gifted his niece 50k on her marriage but can't give some to his daughter

says more about him than you. it's good that you're independent. sometimes parents don't realize that things they say have deep impact on kids. what helped me cope with similar things is to take my parents off the pedestal and see them. as human beings, who have some perceptions and some flaws.

they just need a reason to fight , I stay in my room on weekend and after I get back home.. because whenever we all sit together! we will end up fighting!
