The Depression I have had, thrived on negative thoughts. Depression wants your mind to be full of dispair. It is hard to change thought patterns and it is possible. Journal your thoughts and what you are grateful for in your life. Small appreciations will help the thick weight of depression to start lifting and show you cracks in the depression. You are not the depression. Enjoy a favorite thing to do, get out and walk. Look at the beauty God created fro all of us. Remeber the depression will try everything to keep your mind in a depressed state. Have faith in yourself to step outside yourself and see the havoc & tricks the depression tortures you with. Love yourself, you can get through this and feel fantastic. My battle has not been easy and I am grateful for those around me who saw through the depression and reminded me life is not the depression, no matter how intense the depression pulls you down. Don’t be ashamed of the depression. overcoming the depression can be accomplished.
