just make sure your surroundings doesn't have any irritating sounds. Sounds do play a great role here. Go for some soothing sounds on YouTube. find a quite and silent place where no other human being is there. There you go!

1. it's completely alright to struggle with meditation in the beginning. 2. contrary to popular belief, meditation is not for everyone. if u have severe anxiety problems, conventional meditation may b difficult. different forms of mindfulness may work though. some find mindfulness in gardening, others in cooking or playing music. these r all tasks that keep the parts of the brain that plan and execute movement occupied, so the rest of it and YOU can relax.
