My girlfriend is emotionally unstable

In the last two weeks our therapists have answered 211 queries related to mental health.

I've been dating my girlfriend for 3 years and initially everything seemed great but now she's extremely erratic with her behaviour. One moment she's screaming and throwing things at me and the other moment she acts like nothing happened and starts being affectionate. Taking this in daily is harming my mental health. She often mentally abuses me too. I'm 28 and I'm thinking about getting married but I'm not sure if this is what I want for the rest of my life. I love her so much and can't abandon her.

This isn't the time to bring marriage into the equation at all. You're not sure about the relationship itself. Have you talked to her about how she treats you? If not then you definitely should. If you don't address the problem it'll never go away.

Hey buddy, You shouldn't be dating somebody who is mentally abusing you. You could try couple's therapy but evaluate if you really see a future for this relationship first. If not, then it's best to not waste you and your girlfriend's time.
