My mom blames me for everything

In the last two weeks our therapists have answered 211 queries related to mental health.

I come from a very conservative family where women aren't treated like men are. I'm the youngest of 3 girls so my parents have always had regrets for having me instead of a boy. My mother blames me for everything that's wrong in her life and get agitated at the smallest things. My father acts like I don't even exist. It has destroyed my self-confidence, why can't I earn my own parents' love? I just want to go and live by myself.

Gender discrimination is one of the worst things out there and I'm sorry you have to face it from your own parents. Are you working hard on your career? You need to then ask them what difference does it make if you're a boy or a girl. You have to stand your ground make yourself capable if you want to change their mindset.

Hey, You are worthy of love, please don't doubt that. If the environment in your house feels to toxic for you and beyond repair then there is no harm in moving out. But make yourself financially independent first to do so.

I'm in relationship right now. but I don't know why I don't like to stick with one guy. I like to explore.
