I see, must be really difficult for you. Try to accept it and process it. That it’s okay if the other person doesn’t feel the same. We can’t force someone to feel the same way.

I understand how you feel. But on the bright side, you now have a definitive answer. You know what to do. The pursuit is over. It's time to focus on yourself and your betterment. I'm not saying it is an overnight process or is as easy as it sounds. It may take you months, but once you make up your mind not to think of her, you'll slowly be there, day by day. You said you wanted out. Idk if you see her on a daily basis but atleast don't check her updates on social media. It will take you a lot of time but you'll find yourself in a better place soon

See it like u got rid of an inconsistency in ur life. U might have struggled being in an unrequited love but u decided to make a move. U did and u got ur answer. Its painful to take it, it costed ur friendship with that person. But now u have no other path left but to continue without her. And trust me u will find urself in the process, and u will find love once again.

@kindSalami8 I know I have to continue without her. The relationship is so complicated, I know her past 20 years. I have seen worst and best in her. The "worst" is what concerns me. I don't know how to tell or explain this but relationship I built with her is deeply rooted into my conscious. Even her best friends don't know what I know. For 20 years I was the only person to be around besides her parents. I know I have to depart from her but the journey of departing from her is continuous nightmare. Few days back an incident has occured, I came to her rescue, without me she could have lost everything she built personally, she didn't even care the next day, that's what hurts, it's kind of hell. Now I understand how life is unfair.
