I completely get where you have come from, trust issues can stop you from opening up, I am going through it too, my therepist told me that if I keep entertaining my trust issues then I'll never get ahead in my love life, we need to just put a leap of faith but also not just jump into a rela, be friends for atleast 6 months first, hope it helps
