Hii. I am unable tu trust in guys. I had issues since my childhood. But I had finally got over it and was ready to have a fresh start and wanted to get married even(only after finding the person). But after I knew something about a person who was very close to me and Who I trusted a lot, I feel lost and really don't know what to do. I'm unable to trust anymore. I know I can't judge everyone based on this one person. But we have been close for years and thus I feel cheated/betrayed.

I can understand that it gets difficult. But try to forgive and forget things and now move ahead in life. Talk about your insecurities with the new person you meet. Set healthy boundaries and gradually move forward in any alliance.

Actually the person who I trusted was like a brother to me. I overcame my fear of relationship and marriage looking at him. I thought if I try to overcome I may once get a person like him and be happy and trustful. But after years I got to know that it was just a facade. Idk even if I share everything, would I even be able to trust them completely. I have to start somewhere right?!

Other's behaviour is never in our hands. But you always have a choice about your actions and reactions. Next time when making the judgment about people listen to their words very carefully and judge their actions carefully as well. People reveal themselves eventually if we see them clearly and closely. Pay attention

True. I have never been wrong about people. I always have believed my gut instinct. Maybe that's why I was more terrified thinking it turned out to be wrong. And I now have to trust a person but not fully 100% leaving some part open to suspicion.

Trust issues can build up due to past experiences. But that doesn't mean everyone will betray you. It's upto you to decide whom to trust and whom not to. Maybe take your time before you decide whether or not to trust. You'll overcome it with time :)
