Hi sona, I understand overthinking is straining and puts you in a difficult position.
Its natural for us humans to have over thinking thoughts.
what we might have to consider is weather we are making any assumptions which might not be true as we dont have any evidence for that and often thse sentences starts with "what if".
Sometimes we start to ruminate in our past. learning to see past and present as different scenarios will help not to overthink.
Instead of overthinking you can try to find solutions for the problem which will help you to distract.
I also invite you pen down your thoughts and feelings these will help you to release the emotions by expressing them and understanding them. lastly reframing negative thoughts into optimistic and having some possitive talk with yourself will help to have better control over overthinking.
