I mean is there a stress causing you the pain or is it an internal ailment?

I remember it used to happen with me too... When I heard something that my heart couldn't take, my body used to go numb and there would be no tears forming.. my eyes simply wouldn't well up. But that's when you need to analyse the situation with a relaxed mind and not get edgy. Take deep breaths, have a glass of water, distract yourself, talk to a friend, take a walk
