past event guilt

In the last two weeks our therapists have answered 211 queries related to mental health.

Stress

I am a 24 years old girl...a long long time back, I once kissed a girl...I was most probably a child at that time or max to max I was an adolescent...I don't remember clearly whether it was a normal soft kiss or it was a forceful kiss or it was a insisted kiss..nowadays, whenever I think about that incident, I feel bad or I feel guilty...on the otherhand, I also know this well that unlike today, I was not that matured at that time to understand that I shouldn't be kissing her in any possible way, under any condition or circumstances...(of course, I won't do the same thing now as now, I know and understand it very well that that would be inappropriate)...what do you people think about this? the fact that I had kissed her normally or forcefully or insistingly, was it a crime?

One thing that is good in this situation is that you have realized your mistake and you would never do it again. Obviously, you can't go back and correct it. But you have realized your mistake that's actually enough to forgive yourself. It's okay, you weren't aware if you get a chance you can apologize to the person.

i have thought of apologising but then I think she won't remember any of now because she was a little kid at that time...so if I try to remind her of that incident won't it be awkward?

it can be a little awkward but u can just say it in a funny way and apologise.

1st of all you do not have to be guilty at all! It is okay to try something and you do not even remember what really happened so most probably means that it did not mean much. You should totally accept yourself, there is nothung to be guilty about it, maybe you were trying or maybe she was trying or something either way it is nothing to be ashamed about infact it can be quite laughable like ' oh i tried this lol'. It is fime to be gay or lesbian or pan or omni or WHATEVER YOU ARE ! Embare your self girl!! it is DEFINETLY NOT AT ALLL A CRIME! nothing to feel bas about chill and love yourself ^^
