hi all, I am 27 years old working in an IT company, .our family is going for a marriage function but the thing is the talks are going on for my marriage proposal also and someone from girl side may visit to see me..now I know my parents are not wrong in doing this as they are just doing their responsibility... but the problem is in me that I don't want to get married right now for atleast 1 year as I am very low self confidence and low self esteem guy who was a victim of bullying in 9th till 12th..so suffering from anxiety and depression and what not.. but I can't tell this to my parents as they may worry more on knowing this...so please everyone pray that the girl side should reject me ...so in this scenario everyone will be happy

i pray for you, but go and talk to your parents na tell them that you are not ready or since you are not in relationship you can see a girl once may be you'll like her, you never know you'll get the one who is making you feel confident and comfortable enough to deal with anything you know what i mean just take a shot until or unless you are not ready God will not put you through this after all he will have to take a charge for two person one is you n the other one is her. so just relax .

I know but I can't delay too much now... as you know in Indian households, once elder brother gets married, younger marriage also happens within2 or3 years... and my elder brother got married 3 years ago...so you can understand the situation....

Bro, even if they come atleast tell the person who is your potential partner about your situation. Whatever decision they make they will be knowing what they are getting into. And even after that you don't want to marry, you can say that you dont want to.

the thing is the girl family is being introduced by a very elderly family'person of ours who did a lot for my parents in their younger age and tfet are very respected and I too consider and respect them as my grandfather..he is not less than him ..and you know that if marriage proposal came from the respected persons, the chances of getting thar fixed is too high....I hope you are getting my point.. that's why I am praying to God and request you all to pray that the girl side should reject me

i get it, it is the recommendations from higher authorities. But this decision can change you life. And if you are not ready you have 2 options. First reject the change, Second be ready for the change. What if that person like you but you are just not ready for this?

to be honest, I don't think myself right now that anyone would like a no-life-skill guy, also I am too thin, being 27 I look like 18 or 19, so why would someone want to get embarrassed by liking someone like me....and to find myself, to believe more on me, I need atleast 1 year... and the thing is if I insist, family will not do anything till 1 year but you know na on meeting even for proposal creates a situation that atleast say yes or no then do little engagement and then marriage can take place after 1 year...I am fearing for this
