She should have been honest, as honesty is the foundation of any new relationship. Did she break up with him while she was still seeing you or before? I understand how you must be feeling. But if she hasn't cheated on you, you can give her another chance, on the condition that she never hides anything from you ever again. You need to talk to her about it. And 8 years is a long period, you need to find out if she is still in contact with him or if she double dated you both at any point. In which case, you might want to rethink how you wanna move forward with this relationship. It all depends on what happened and how you feel about it. Take a thoughtful decision for yourself

It is pretty confusing. She should have told you the truth. But I don't think she means anything wrong. You can talk to her about how hiding the truth hurt you. Tell her how you feel and ask her to be honest from now on. Make her understand and then I think you guys are good to go. As long as she doesn't repeat the same mistake. You need to make yourself clear to her that you did not like this being hid from you. Everything will be fine b/w you two
