Yoga and meditation helps because with yoga,you can learn to breath properly and some porses are especially for depression. Meditation helps with instilling positive thoughts which can fight when you start getting negetive thoughts due to depression. Exercise also helps which can help with good mood for hours. There are other things you can do and i am sure eating the right foods can help and avoid certain drinks like coffee. The internet helps a lot with such information. I am also not on meds but just instill positive thinking and breathing exercises particulary for depression and calming.
