recent intrusion of an ex partner of the current partner which is creating differences in the relationship

I'm in a relationship for 2 years and recently he has been talking a lot about his exes which kind of disturbs me a lot. He's also very spacey and as I have separation anxiety so I cry very easily and he even shouts at me for crying. Idk why he always calls me selfish whenever I talk to him about my depression attacks. He loves me a lot and I know that. But recently I've noticed that he is very protective towards his exes and he even tells me not to speak bad about them. Today he told me that he was talking to this one girl and I told him not to text her after 10 p.m to which he replied I shouldn't have told you this in the first place.

Every relationship has a respect factor and you need to address that here. If you dint like it you have to tell him and you did that. What I feel you should do is have a conversation with him and tell him that this behaviour of his going down well with you. If he still continues to do the same then it’s better to move on rather than waste your time on him. You need to be respected and loved to be honest he ain’t doing any of it

Whenever I try to have a conversation about these things he ignores it or shouts at me...and then ends up saying hurtful things to me
